![]() I often times will take two thralls to knock things out. Once this terrible thrall starts to level up you have a thrall that can knock things out. I usually put my thralls early on in slaver gear with a 2h weapon usually that cripples (this helps me keep distance especially if using a bow). Tessa the blade/Noss the murderer/Kuth One-blow/ there are so many names for this thrall (all with the same stats in survival), I usually get 2-3 for some early base protection. With the low tier thrall I try to get one of the worst named thralls which is in the area and spawns alone and is guaranteed to spawn. I then kill some shalebacks and alligators for a little bit to level this low tier thrall up. I then go to I3/I4 and set up a small base north of noob river with a wheel of pain and get me a tier 1 or 2 thrall. ![]() Bows are great while you let your thrall tank I like the katana, but daggers are fun too. I then get on the wiki and find a set that gives me those stats. Greatsword and hammer can be good too, hammer is nice because its final light attack will knock down enemies.Įarly on I choose a stat I want strength, accuracy, vitality, or encumbrance. Greataxe is fun but I didn't find it great for dealing with groups as it only has 2 sweeping attacks. Katana is similar where all the light attacks have a pretty fast and wide arc for cleaving enemies in front of you with the added bonus of now you can do that infinitely as long as you have stamina. One handed axe is nice because the first heavy is a leap, meaning you can usually get the first hit in because the distance will be enough that the enemy won't automatically attack since you weren't in range before, then the follow up heavies are all wide arc attacks around you. So getting used to hitting a few times and then backing off for a few seconds while that CC immune timer resets is something you should get used to.Īs for weapons I like the one handed axe and the katana. After 5 or 6 attacks they will always break out and be immune to incoming hits (CC from hits not the damage) which means they will hit you if you don't dodge or block. So I haven't seen it mentioned yet but if you're getting rekt by groups of human NPCs the main reason might be because of a change they made a while ago where you can no longer permanently stagger lock an enemy with attacks. r/ConanBaseBuilds/ - View and post sick builds here!./r/ConanExilesServers - Find a private server here!.Official Links:Ĭonan Exiles Site | Twitter | Facebook | Instagram | Dev Blog Open discussion is encouraged, but your Mods reserve the right to remove posts containing weird gross stuff or other objectionable material.Īll general Reddit rules also apply.
